Dräger X-plore bayonet filter codes: OV, AG, HF, FM, CD, AM, MA, HS and P100
Dräger's X-plore bayonet filters for the X-plore 3300, 3500 and 5500 masks carry letter codes for their NIOSH approvals: OV organic vapor, AG acid gas (chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide), HF hydrogen fluoride, FM formaldehyde, CD chlorine dioxide, AM ammonia, MA methylamine, HS hydrogen sulfide, and P100 for the particulate filter; N95 and R95 pads sit on a filter pad base. The bayonet filter sheet states all of them are NIOSH approved with the X-plore half and full face masks, and the Dräger selection guide lists each filter by part number against several hundred substances by CAS number; the number of substances listed for each filter is on its product page.
Draeger 6738351 X-plore Bayonet MultiGas Filter OV/AG/HF/FM/CD/AM/MA/HS, Pack of 20Multi-Gas+ (OV/AG/HF/FM/CD/AM/MA/HS) bayonet filter (bayonet filter sheet)Why letters instead of colors. A Dräger bayonet gas filter is approved for a set of contaminant classes, and the code strings the classes together: 6738025 is OV/AG/HF/FM/CD, 6738351 Multi-Gas+ adds AM/MA/HS, and the P100 versions (6738034, 6738035, 6738037, 6738361) add the particulate filter to the same gas filter. The Pure P100 (6738350) and its adapter (6738356) let a P100 be combined with any gas filter, and the pad system (base 6738039, retainer 6738038) takes the N95 (6738020) and R95 (6738021) pads. All of them fit the twin bayonet connections of the X-plore 3300 and 3500 half masks and the side bayonets of the X-plore 5500 full face mask.
