The 1925 leather palm work gloves are made of premium A grade grain pigskin leather and feature a 2.5-inch rubberized safety cuff, and a fleece lined palm.  Other features include a shirred elastic back and a wing thumb design.  Pigskin is a better leather choice in wet conditions because it remains softer after becoming wet.  Larger pores found on this leather also allow for better breathability than other leather options.
