Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tapes 2228

Mastic tape consists of Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) backing coated with a strong, temperature-stable mastic adhesive. The integrated suspension models also feature a wide face seal with soft elastic for improved comfort and reduced noise. Its temperature-rated at 194F (90C), and rated for emergency overload of 266F (130C)Use this tape to insulate, pad, and seal bus bar and splice connections. Compatible with solid dielectric cable insulation.
