Shipping Policy

Bayshore Safety & Industrial Supplies ships nationwide from our Pittsburg, California warehouse and directly from our manufacturer and distribution partners across the United States. In-stock orders placed by 9:00 AM Pacific ship the same business day, and orders placed after 9:00 AM ship the next business day; orders that ship direct from a manufacturer typically leave within 2 to 3 business days. Because many items ship from different locations, your order may arrive in more than one package.

 

FREE ground shipping on orders over $199. Applies to parcel-size items shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS Ground to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. Standard Ground is $14.95 on orders under $199, or you can choose a live carrier rate at checkout, including UPS 2nd Day Air and USPS Priority Mail. Our minimum online order is $50.

 

Heavy and oversized items. Items over 20 pounds carry a handling surcharge that is shown on the product page and in your cart ($25 for items 20 to 35 lb, $45 for items 35 to 70 lb). This surcharge applies even when your order qualifies for free ground shipping, because it covers the extra carrier cost of moving heavy freight.

 

Freight (LTL) items. Cabinets, drums, cylinder carts, tripod systems, threading machines and other items over 70 pounds ship by LTL freight at $195 per item to a commercial address with a dock or forklift, within the 48 contiguous states. Residential delivery, liftgate service and delivery appointments are available at additional cost. We confirm freight details with you before the order ships. Freight to Alaska and Hawaii, and residential, liftgate or job-site freight anywhere, can be quoted in advance with the "Request a freight quote" button on the product page.

 

Hazardous materials. Aerosols, paints, solvents, adhesives, batteries and other regulated items ship by ground only, carry a $20 hazmat handling fee per item, and cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

 

Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO. Parcel items ship by UPS at our by-weight rates: $34.95 up to 5 lb, $69.95 up to 20 lb, $139.95 over 20 lb, with delivery in 7 to 12 business days. Freight (LTL) items are not charged at checkout for Alaska or Hawaii; use the "Request a freight quote" button on the product page or call us and we will email a delivered freight price for your address, usually within one business day. Hazmat items cannot ship to these destinations. We do not ship outside the United States.

 

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout from the actual weight and dimensions of the items in your order. Charges shown in your cart are estimates until the order is confirmed; if the actual cost differs materially (for example, an incorrect delivery address or a residential address on a freight order), we will contact you before shipping. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier; please inspect every shipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt so we can file a claim on your behalf.

 

Local delivery. Bay Area job-site and business accounts are served by our own delivery fleet. Contact us for delivery days and account terms.
