Primair 100 Series hoods
The data sheet states the Primair 100 Series hoods are for use with the CA200 Series PAPR and the CF1000 Series CF-SAR; hoods with collar and full bib have an assigned protection factor (APF) of 1000; the manifold directs air over the lens to reduce fogging; PA121 and PA141 are coated for protection from intermittent splash; replacement hoods are PA112 (for PA111), PA122 (PA121), PA132 (PA131) and PA142 (PA141), 3 per box.

What's the difference between item PA101 and PA111? The difference is the bib on the PA111 PA101 Primair assembly includes headgear with a disposable Tyvek® headcover. PA111 Primair Plus assembly includes headgear with disposable Tyvek® bibbed headcover. (North support article 000043022.)
Will the PA036 work with the PA111? The PA036 will not be compatible with the PA111 The breathing tubes for the PAPR's we offer are as follows: PAPR HOOD BREATHING TUBE CA201-H5 PA111 CA127 PA700 PA111 PA031 PA800 N/A PA036 (This tube is not compatible with the PA111) (North support article 000021730.)
Why PA111 is yellow instead of white? North had to move from white to yellow due to material shortages from the supplier in the white color, driven by COVID. The material is the same and there should be a note included with the hoods that states this information to customers. (North support article 000039644.)
PA111 cleaning instructions? The hood has to be disposed after each use, To clean the headgear, use a mild cleaning solution and a cloth or sponge. Do not use liquid solvents. Liquid solvents can chemically weaken the plastic. Rinse and air dry. The inside of the air duct can be dried by blowing air from the Compact Air unit through it. Store the Primair Series headgear at room temperature in a clean dry area, away from direct sunlight and… (North support article 000039412.)
