Fit testing and the OSHA standard
29 CFR 1910.134(f) requires a fit test before first use of a tight-fitting respirator, whenever a different facepiece is used, and at least annually; Appendix A lists the accepted qualitative protocols, including Bitrex (denatonium benzoate), and the quantitative protocols.
