Respirators for Pesticides questions
What respirator does a pesticide label require? The label's personal protective equipment statement, which the EPA Worker Protection Standard makes mandatory; it names the NIOSH approval type (for example an organic-vapor cartridge with a particulate prefilter, or a particulate respirator).
What cartridge type do the makers list for pesticides? Organic vapor (OV) and OV with P100 on the North chart; Dräger lists OV, OV/P100 and Multi-Gas+ filters against the compounds in its selection guide.
