Cross-sensitivity (handbook, p. 216): Propyl mercaptan and tert-butyl mercaptan are indicated, but with less sensitivity. 4 ppm ethylene, 30 ppm CO, 10 ppm tetrahydrothiophene, and 100 ppm H2S do not affect the reading. H2S colors the pre-layer black.
