Draeger tubes by gas and range: all 183 tubes for 98 gases on one page
Draeger names a tube by the substance it is calibrated to and the bottom of its measuring range, so finding the tube for a job is two steps: the gas, then the range the reading has to fall in. This page lists every Draeger short-term tube we carry under its gas with the handbook measuring range, 183 tubes for 98 gases and substance groups. If you have been using another maker’s detector tube, the same two facts apply: the gas and the range printed on that tube. Draeger does not publish a cross-reference to other makers’ part numbers, and the handbook states that tubes and pumps from different manufacturers are not interchangeable (pp. 28–29), so the match is made on gas and range, and the Draeger tube is read on a Draeger pump.
Draeger accuro detector tube hand pumpBellows pump, 100 mL (± 5 %) per stroke, 1 to 50 strokes and higher, no power supply (handbook p. 31)Why gas and range, and not a part-number table? Because those are the two things Draeger defines a tube by (p. 114), and the two things any detector tube from any maker is defined by. A list that said one maker’s number equals another’s would be our assertion, not a published fact; the handbook entries are published facts, and the range on the other maker’s tube is printed on it. Put the two side by side and the match is visible. Where the ranges do not line up exactly, the Draeger tubes for that gas are listed lowest range first so the neighbors are in view, and the gas page gives the strokes, the measuring time and the OSHA and NIOSH limits for the same gas.

Questions people ask
Is there a Draeger cross-reference for Gastec, Sensidyne or RAE tubes?
Draeger does not publish one. The match is made on the gas and the measuring range printed on the tube, which is how this page lists the Draeger tubes; the handbook states tubes and pumps from different makers are not interchangeable (pp. 28–29).
Can I use a Draeger tube in another maker’s pump?
The handbook states that using other pumps with Draeger short-term tubes, or other short-term tubes with Draeger pumps, can impair the function of the measurement system (pp. 28–29).
How many Draeger tubes are there?
The handbook lists several hundred substances; we list 183 tubes for 98 gases and substance groups, all on this page and on the A–Z chart.
What if my gas is not listed?
Call (925) 215-7337 or email us with the gas and the range you expect; Draeger makes more tubes than we list.
Where are the exposure limits?
On each gas page: the OSHA PEL, NIOSH REL and IDLH as the NIOSH Pocket Guide lists them.
