Fire Extinguishers for Telecom, MDF and IDF Rooms

MDF, IDF and telecom rooms hold delicate electronic equipment on energized circuits, so NFPA 10 (2026) 5.5.4.6 and 6.4 apply: a Class C-listed type, not dry chemical, sized on the Class A or B hazard. These rooms are usually small, which makes the halogenated agent minimum room volume (5.3.2.6.1) the deciding number. Below: the sections, the units that fit by volume with live prices, and the NFPA 76 pointer. Ships in 1–2 business days; most orders arrive in 3–7 business days.
