Cross-sensitivity (handbook, p. 260): A sulfur dioxide measurement is not possible in the presence of hydrogen sulfide, as hydrogen sulfide is indicated with roughly the same sensitivity. Nitrogen dioxide shortens the reading.
Measuring range extension (handbook, p. 260): Measuring range 200 to 2000 ppm where n = 1 stroke, multiply the indicated value by 10. During the 1-stroke measurement, 3 desorption strokes in air free of sulfur dioxide need to be performed afterwards.

Draeger CH24201 questions
What does the Draeger CH24201 measure? Sulfur dioxide in air, measuring range 20 to 200 ppm.
How many pump strokes does the CH24201 take? 10 strokes (n) per the handbook, p. 260. Measuring time approx. 3 min.
Which pump does the CH24201 use? A Draeger tube pump: the accuro hand pump or the X-act 5000. Per the handbook (p. 28–29), Draeger short-term tubes and Draeger tube pumps are matched at the factory and form a single unit; using other pumps with Draeger tubes, or other tubes with Draeger pumps, can impair the measurement.
What is the color change on the CH24201? brown-yellow → white, read against the scale printed on the tube.
Do Draeger CH24201 tubes expire? Yes. Draeger prints an expiration date (month and year) on the package; the handbook states a typical shelf life for the customer of up to two years, stored sealed at the temperature on the package strip (handbook section 2.13).
How many tubes are in a box of CH24201? 10. Each tube is used once.
