Draeger CH19601 questions
What does the Draeger CH19601 measure? Vinyl chloride in air, measuring range 100 to 3000 ppm.
How many pump strokes does the CH19601 take? 18 to 1 strokes (n) per the handbook, p. 275. Measuring time max. 3 min.
Which pump does the CH19601 use? A Draeger tube pump: the accuro hand pump or the X-act 5000. Per the handbook (p. 28–29), Draeger short-term tubes and Draeger tube pumps are matched at the factory and form a single unit; using other pumps with Draeger tubes, or other tubes with Draeger pumps, can impair the measurement.
What is the color change on the CH19601? purple → light brown, read against the scale printed on the tube.
Do Draeger CH19601 tubes expire? Yes. Draeger prints an expiration date (month and year) on the package; the handbook states a typical shelf life for the customer of up to two years, stored sealed at the temperature on the package strip (handbook section 2.13).
How many tubes are in a box of CH19601? 10. Each tube is used once.
