Draeger CH29501 questions
What does the Draeger CH29501 measure? Hydrochloric acid in air, measuring range 1 to 10 ppm.
How many pump strokes does the CH29501 take? 10 strokes (n) per the handbook, p. 193. Measuring time approx. 2 min.
Which pump does the CH29501 use? A Draeger tube pump: the accuro hand pump or the X-act 5000. Per the handbook (p. 28–29), Draeger short-term tubes and Draeger tube pumps are matched at the factory and form a single unit; using other pumps with Draeger tubes, or other tubes with Draeger pumps, can impair the measurement.
What is the color change on the CH29501? blue → yellow, read against the scale printed on the tube.
Do Draeger CH29501 tubes expire? Yes. Draeger prints an expiration date (month and year) on the package; the handbook states a typical shelf life for the customer of up to two years, stored sealed at the temperature on the package strip (handbook section 2.13).
How many tubes are in a box of CH29501? 10. Each tube is used once.
