Cross-sensitivity (handbook, p. 200): Other halogen hydracids do not have any effect within their OEL ranges. In the presence of higher humidity than shown above, hydrogen fluoride mist is generated, which cannot be quantitatively indicated by the tube, i.e., the indication is too low.

Draeger CH30301 questions
What does the Draeger CH30301 measure? Hydrogen fluoride in air, measuring range 1.5 to 15 ppm.
How many pump strokes does the CH30301 take? 20 strokes (n) per the handbook, p. 200. Measuring time approx. 2 min.
Which pump does the CH30301 use? A Draeger tube pump: the accuro hand pump or the X-act 5000. Per the handbook (p. 28–29), Draeger short-term tubes and Draeger tube pumps are matched at the factory and form a single unit; using other pumps with Draeger tubes, or other tubes with Draeger pumps, can impair the measurement.
What is the color change on the CH30301? light blue → light pink, read against the scale printed on the tube.
Do Draeger CH30301 tubes expire? Yes. Draeger prints an expiration date (month and year) on the package; the handbook states a typical shelf life for the customer of up to two years, stored sealed at the temperature on the package strip (handbook section 2.13).
How many tubes are in a box of CH30301? 10. Each tube is used once.
